The program prepares students for certification as Certified Supply Chain Professional, Certified Professional Logistics, and a Certified Professional in Supply Management. 

The Master’s in Supply Chain Management from Rutgers University is taught by the same award-winning faculty who teach its on-ground classes. The school has partnered with Coursera to offer a Supply Chain Excellence MasterTrack Certificate that, when completed, will count for three credit hours. The University of San Diego offers a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management created for students who have the flexibility to travel a few days each semester to the school, but who prefer a mostly online program. The school claims to have the only US SCM degree accredited by the Chartered Institute for Purchasing and Supply (CIPS). The program is designed around case-based work and practical simulations.

The Master of Science in Supply Chain and Logistics Management from the University of Alabama is a degree created for the working professional. The average age of the cohorts in this program is 33, with most having just under eight years of work experience. The program allows a GMAT waiver for students who have five years of professional work experience and a 3.0 undergraduate GPA. 

Students who enter the Master’s in Logistics and Supply Chain Management program from Georgia College will be attending a well thought out program with more than 40 years of training students in logistics and supply chain management. To be eligible for admission into this program, students are required to have taken a college-level statistics course in their undergraduate education. Students admitted to the program start classes in the fall of each year.
